Remove The Swirls and Get The Most Gloss and Clarity From Your Paint

Our Paint Correction service is designed to remove swirls and imperfections, allowing your car to shine like new. We offer an intensive two-step correction process, which includes cutting and polishing, to achieve the highest level of gloss and clarity.

  • Goal: Remove 65% to 90% of imperfections.

  • Process: Intensive two-step correction for maximum gloss.

Understanding the Limitations

While we strive to remove as many imperfections as possible, some scratches and blemishes may remain. Factors influencing this include:

  • Depth of Scratches: Some scratches may be too deep.

  • Type of Imperfections: Certain types of damage may be more challenging to correct.

  • Safety Concerns: We prioritize the integrity of your paint and may avoid certain areas to prevent damage.

Our specialists will make informed decisions to ensure the safety and longevity of your vehicle's paint.

Customisable Service

The time required for paint correction can vary based on your desired outcome. We can spend anywhere from 5 to 20 hours polishing your paint to meet your expectations.

Even newer vehicles may require this service due to handling and transportation prior to your purchase. It's common for cars to accumulate swirls and imperfections during this period.

Commitment to Maintenance

Paint correction is a significant investment in your vehicle's appearance. Proper maintenance is crucial to preserve the results. Improper washing and drying can quickly reintroduce swirls and scratches.

  • Time Required: 8 to 15 hours of meticulous work, depending on your vehicle's condition and desired results.

Paint Correction Process

Clean wheels, tyres and fenders: Our detailing process begins with a comprehensive cleaning of your vehicle's wheels, tyres, and fenders

Gentle Foam Hand Wash: Your vehicle will receive a thick layer of foam, which helps to loosen and lift dirt and grime. Following this, we perform a gentle hand wash, ensuring that all surfaces are thoroughly cleaned.

Chemically Remove Iron Particles: To ensure a perfectly clean surface, we perform chemical decontamination to remove iron particles from your vehicle's paint.

Clay Bar Treatment: The next step is a clay bar treatment to remove any remaining embedded dirt and debris, ensuring a smooth and clean surface.

Tape Off Sensitive Areas: To prevent polish build-up and staining, we carefully tape off and protect any trim, chrome, and sensitive areas. This ensures these parts remain untouched and pristine during the polishing process.

Step 1: Correction: Using a machine polisher, cutting disc, and compound, we safely remove the majority of swirls and scratches from your vehicle's paint, restoring its smooth finish.

Step 2: Polish: To increase shine and clarity, we polish the micro-scratches left over from the compound phase. This step enhances the overall finish, giving your vehicle a brilliant, glossy look.

Paint Wipe Down: We wipe down the paint to remove any leftover polish residue, allowing us to inspect its true condition and reveal any remaining imperfections.

Paint Protection: Based on your choice of protection, we will apply either a wax, sealant, or a durable ceramic coating to safeguard your vehicle's finish and enhance its shine.

Dress Tyres, Plastic & Trim: To give the exterior an extra pop, we dress most of the exterior plastic and trim to an even black finish, including the tyres, fenders, and trim. This treatment enhances their appearance without leaving a greasy residue.

Clean Exterior Windows & Mirrors: We complete the detail with streak-free glass cleaning on all exterior surfaces, ensuring crystal-clear windows and mirrors for a pristine finish.

Final Inspection: We conduct a final inspection of all exterior surfaces and touch up any areas that need attention, ensuring your vehicle looks amazing.

Paint Correction FAQs

Do you offer ceramic coatings?

We sure do! This is a fantastic option to protect your paint from the weather. You can read more about our ceramic coatings here. You can also stay with the more traditional wax or sealant at no additional price.

How long do the results last?

After the paint is corrected, the next phase is maintenance. It’s like styling your hair. You don’t just style it once once and think it'll last forever.

You have to continually maintain and repeat the same routine. It’s the same with paint correction. You have to properly (and routinely) wash and dry your vehicle moving forward to maintain the swirl-free finish of your paint. If not, you’re back to square one.

Where are you located?

Currently, we offer mobile detailing services meaning that we come to you. However, due to the nature of paint correction, it has to be conducted in a controlled environment such as a garage, a shaded car port, or under a gazebo.

What tools and products do you use?

A wide arrange of machines, pads, polishes, compounds, cleaners, towels, and lights will be used to work on your car. Every car will be different and will yield different methods and tools.

What’s the difference between a wax and paint correction?

A wax does not remove any swirls or scratches from your paint. It only hides the very light swirls and can be completed in a few hours. Paint correction actually removes the swirls in your paint. This is what makes the paint shine like crazy. It also takes a substantial amount of time and energy to complete. Usually one or two full days (depending on size, condition, and desired results).
